AT&T Prepaid Got a Lot Less Smart

(Or why I hate their greedy guts.)

Not long ago, I wrote an article about how nice and cheap my smartphone is as an AT&T "GoPhone".

Then a few days ago I went to add $5 worth of data to my service, in preparation for a trip I'm making soon. ... only to find that option had been yanked.

I know many people who are paying $50-70 per month for their phone service. Are you crazy? In three years of ownership your smartphone will cost $2,100-2,820!
